Fuel price rise a temporary affair: Jamshedpur MP

Jamshedpur, Feb 18: Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahato has described the annual budget as balanced which will not pressure on any section. 
The MP also said that economic recession is a global phenomena after Covid-19 pandemic and this has led to increase in prices of fuel as it is linked to international market and so are the prices of LPG. But this is a temporary phase. 


Addressing media at his Bistupur residential office, Bidyut Baran Mahato said that the central government is keeping an eye on increasing prices of fuel and LPG and is taking every step to maintain the prices. 


The MP asked people to remind that prices had also increased during Congress tenure and said that Government would soon control the prices. 
He also said that talks are being held on increasing subsidy of gases and it will happen soon. 


Commenting on the budget he termed it as India’s first digital budget and has considered development of all sectors in mind. 


The MP said that state government is creating hurdles in the start of construction work in Dhalbhugarh Airport and there is no need for gram sabha meeting as already talks had been held with gram sabhas. The earlier government led by BJP had already signed MoU for construction work of the Airport the current government only has to issue a clearance letter. 

The MP said that he had met Union road transport minister Nitin Gadkari in Delhi recently over slow pace of construction work of NH-33 stretch between Ranchi and Jamshedpur also on construction of an elevated corridor in Jamshedpur and the Union minister has assured to take up the issue in the next Lok Sabha session and issue directive to the departmental officers.
