Jamshedpur, April 21: A day after Karni Sena’s National Vice President Vinay Singh was shot dead by unidentified assailants on Sunday night, a three-member Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team from Ranchi arrived in Jamshedpur on Monday to begin the investigation.
The FSL team first visited MGM Hospital, where a preliminary examination of the body was conducted. Following this, the team proceeded to the crime scene and began collecting evidence. Blood samples were taken from the spot, and several crucial pieces of forensic evidence were seized with the help of technical tools. Photographs of the scene were also captured for further analysis.
Meanwhile, the police prepared the Panchnama (inquest report) of the body in the presence of officials, and the body was sent for post-mortem examination.
Investigators are working to uncover the motive and identities of the attackers based on the evidence collected by the FSL team. The police have stated that they were thoroughly examining every angle of the case.
