Bengali and Hindi songs herald Nabo Barsho at The Milanee

Jamshedpur, April 21: A bouquet of popular Bengali and Hindi songs rendered by local artistes Raja Barua, Triparna Banerjee and Hirok Sen ensured the packed Milanee auditorium of a sensational welcome to the Nabo Barsho that was being celebrated by the Club. President Shekhar Dey who was present at the programme as the Chief Guest welcomed the performing artistes with bouquets. He wished all a very happy Nabo Barsho and urged to keep the socio-cultural banner flying high.

The songs rendered were so melodiously engrossing that the mesmerized audience clapped rhythmically to add to the prevailing mood of the evening.

The instrumentalists comprised Shibu Sen (Dholak), Biju Sinku (synthesizer), Afroz Anwar (lead guitar), Kaushik Das (octopad) and Swarup Roy (base guitar).

Earlier, the Club’s General Secretary Dipankar Dutta welcomed the guests. The programme was anchored by Pritilekha Roy.
