Jamshedpur, August 9: In a proud moment for Jamshedpur, Vedanta Sharma, a student of Kavyapta Global School (formerly Mount Litera Zee School), has secured admission to the highly esteemed Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC) in Dehradun. Vedanta, son of  Snigdha Kumar and Praveen Kumar from Kadma, has clinched the sole seat allocated to Jharkhand for this term.

RIMC, often hailed as the cradle of military leadership in India, is a premier institution that grooms future officers for the Indian Armed Forces. Established in 1922, it boasts a rich history of producing distinguished leaders for India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. The college, spread across 140 acres in the picturesque Doon Valley, operates under the Union Ministry of Defence and maintains an impressive teacher-student ratio of 1:14.

Vedanta’s achievement is particularly noteworthy given the fierce competition for RIMC admission. The college selects only 25 cadets every six months from across the country through a rigorous selection process. His success underscores his exceptional abilities and dedication, marking him as a potential future leader in the armed forces.

The community of Kadma, Jamshedpur, along with the faculty and students of Kavyapta Global School, are celebrating this remarkable accomplishment. Vedanta’s admission to RIMC not only brings honor to his family but also highlights the quality of education imparted at Kavyapta Global School.
