Jamshedpur, Nov 17: Srinath University welcomed the new batch of Diploma and B.Tech students with a grand Fresher’s Day celebration for the academic year 2025. The event commenced with a lamp-lighting ceremony led by the Vice-Chancellor, Registrar, Dean Administration, Head HR, Head of the School of Engineering and faculty members, marking the beginning of a new academic journey.
In his inaugural address, the Vice-Chancellor encouraged students to embrace discipline, creativity and academic excellence. He highlighted the growing significance of technical education in shaping future innovators and urged students to engage in academic and cultural activities.
Chancellor Sukhdev Mahato extended his best wishes to the freshers through a special message, emphasizing that quality education formed the foundation of personal and professional success. He assured students that the university was committed to providing a supportive learning environment and urged them to stay focused on their goals.
The celebration featured vibrant cultural performances, including dance, music and creative acts. Among the standout performers, Anupam was crowned Mr. Fresher 2025, while Anshu received the title of Ms. Fresher 2025. Karan was awarded Mr. Handsome Hunk and Moumita was declared Ms. Drama Queen.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks, inspiring the new students to begin their journey at Srinath University with confidence and enthusiasm.
