Jamshedpur, Oct 24: “The services of Roti Bank are incomparable. It is the first such organization in Jharkhand that is providing free food without any government support to thousands of poor and needy people every day,” observed Seraikela Labor Superintendent Rakesh Kumar Sinha during Roti Bank’s food distribution among the poor at MGM Hospital.
“Free food distribution is the best charity. Today, in memory of my father, late Nagendra Sinha, I got an opportunity to distribute food through Roti Bank. It is indeed very heartwarming to see the dedication and spirit of service among the members of Roti Bank towards the poor,” Rakesh Kumar Sinha stated.
Jamshedpur Labor Superintendent Ramesh Prasad Singh was also present on the occasion as a special guest. He appreciated this special initiative of Roti Bank to provide food to the families of poor patients at the hospital. He said that Roti Bank was the first and unique institution to provide regular arrangement of free food to the families of very poor patients from the rural areas. “This is a ray of hope for the poor and it is the responsibility of all of us to preserve it,” he said.
Manoj Mishra, Chairman of Roti Bank Charitable Trust welcomed everyone in the program and explained in detail about the initial journey of Roti Bank. Today food was provided to more than five hundred poor people. Rakesh Kumar, Pawan, Arvind Kishore, Aniket, Harsh, Naveen, Sanjeev, Gautam, Madhu, Brajbihari, Shekhar Mishra from Dhanbad and Sanjeev Srivastav of INTUC, Meena Kumari, Anjana, Tanya and others were present in today’s program.
