Jamshedpur, May 7: Deputy Commissioner Vijaya Jadhav inaugurated a free butter milk counter for visitors at the District Collectorate premises. She said that the counter had been launched in keeping with government guidelines against falling prey to the heat wave. The DC said that people should drink water and other liquids in adequate quantity to protect themselves against heat wave. The free butter milk counter had been opened for the purpose. Prof Giridhar of XLRI Jamshedpur has taken the initiative to install free buttermilk counters at other city spots. The City SP K Vijay Shankar inaugurated a free buttermilk counter at Bistupur police station.
