Jamshedpur, April 19: In a meeting of Fair Price Shop Dealers Association (FPSDA) of East Singhbhum on Tuesday, discussion was held on the upcoming Mahasammelan (general convention) at Michael John Auditorium in Bistupur on Thursday, May 5. It was decided to send out invitations so that a maximum number of Fair Price Shop dealers of the district attended the convention on May 5. The meeting was held in Sakchi under the chairmanship of state’s Organization Secretary cum district in-charge Mohan Shaw Paras. The State Working Committee member, Pramod Gupta, conducted the meeting. Mohan Saw Paras said that the chief guest in the general conference would be the Executive President of the national federation and the state president Omkar Nath Jha while the special guests would be State’s Senior Vice President Suresh Prasad, General Secretary Sanjay Kundu, in-charge of Kolhan division, Phulkant Jha and the district’s steering committee. Representatives of all districts of the state, including patron Shankar Poddar, will be present in the conference.
All public distribution system shopkeepers and women’s self-help groups, women’s committees were requested to show their unity by attending the district conference.
During the meeting, dealers of some areas complained about not getting the ration supplies for the month of March from the godowns. Many dealers of Burmamines, Golmuri, Jugsalai and Potka were yet to get ration for the month of March. In this regard, Pramod Gupta said that the dealers’ problems would be appraised in a meeting with senior officers.
Satyanarayan Rajak, Umesh Saw, Bhola Saw, Vivek Kumar, Ranjit Kumar, Vinay Kumar, Krishna Saw and many others attended the day’s meeting.
