Jamshedpur, Oct 7: Manoj Tiwary of Bengal will lead east zone Cricket Team for Duleep Trophy match which is scheduled to be held from 15th to 18th October, 2014 at Lahli.
For the tournament fifteen players have been shorlisted including four from Jharkhand namely Rameez Nemat, Saurabh Tiwary who is also the vice-captain of the squad, Shehbaz Nadeem and Samar Quadri.
Apart from Jharkhand Sudip Chatterjee, Manoj Tiwary, Wriddhiman Saha (wicket-keeper), Laxmi Ratan Shukla, Ashoke Dinda from Bengal have made it to the squad.
Natraj Behra, Basant Mohanty and Gobind Poddar are from Odissa, Rana Dutta from Tripura while Abu Nachim Ahmed and Gokul Sharma from Assam will represent the eastern zone.
S.S. Das will be the Coach, Manoj Biswal will be the trainer while Kamlesh Jain and Vikash Kundu have been assinged the role Phyiso and Masseur respectively.
