Four DBMS boys selected for National Challenge Ideate for India

Jamshedpur, July 11: National e-Governance Division, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India and Intel India have designed a National Challenge – �Ideate for India � Creative Solutions Using Technology�. The aim of this challenge is to give young students of our country a platform and opportunity to become �solution creators� for the problems they see around them and their communities. The objective of this National Challenge is to empower youth and enable them to create a difference in their community.

The challenge was implemented at national level – open to school students from classes 6 � 12 across the country. 10 best ideas of the students were selected from each state.

Innovative ideas of four students from DBMS English School were selected.��The students include Subhigya Priyansh (Class IX) for his project Human Nerve Impulse Energy, Aditya Khemka (Class X)�for Answering Bell, Kaustav Malik (Class X) for Fingerprint Vehicle Ignition and Methane & CO2 Sensor in Mines and Priyansh Panchal (Class IX) for Police Drone. These four students are among the �top 10 students selected from Jharkhand.�

They attended a four day workshop �Regional Tech-Creation Boot camp� for the East Zone in Kolkata from 5th July to 8th July 2019.  �Skills of the Future� such as design thinking, ideation – idea generation, making, do-it-yourself concepts, collaboration, 3D Printing, Artificial Intelligence, IOT were some of the important topics covered in the boot camp.

50 students from East, West, North & South boot camp will be selected based on their tech-creations being implemented in the community and will be invited to New Delhi for the National Showcasing and will be felicitated as Tech-Creation Champions.
