Jamshedpur, Feb 26: Founder’s Day was celebrated at DSM School for Excellence on Monday, February 26 on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Thakur Dhurandar Singh. The chief guest on the occasion was Dr Santosh Gupta the Vice President of Indian Medical Association, Jamshedpur and Senior Cardiologist at Brahmananda Hospital. Special guests included Dr Saurav Kumar Pati (Dentist), Dr Ashu (Ayurvedic), Dr Patel and Dr Manoj (MBBS). Also present on the occasion were Teji Singh, Chairman Dilip Singh, School Director Saugandh Singh, Saubhagya Singh, Principal Geetha Nair and Vice Principal Jaspal Kaur along with teachers, students and parents.
The programme commenced with Ganesh Vandana presented by teachers Hemant, Shewangi and Pinky. All dignitaries present on the occasion paid homage to Thakur Dhurandar Singh. Students performed a play tracing the journey of the school. Isha Ghosh anchored the programme while the School’s Vice Principal Jaspal Kaur offered the vote of thanks.
A free health checkup camp was organized by the school management on the occasion of Founder’s Day celebrations.
