Foundation stone to be laid to rehabilitate Islam Nagar displaced: CM

Ranchi, Aug. 23: Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that the govt. will lay foundation stone on 15th November to construct houses for the displaced people of Islam Nagar.

Multi storey building along with park and community hall will be built on polytechnic land to rehabilitate the displaced people. Chairing SLSC constituted under JNNURM, the CM said this.

He said to settle the scattered vegetable market by constructing the market and settling the green grocers there. He said that vegetable market should be made in half part of Naga Baba khatal and in the rest half, multi storey commercial market should be made.

It was told in the meeting that nearly 295 houses are ready in Rugdigadha . The govt. has decided to rehabilitate 284 families of Rugdigadha, Banas talab, Balmiki Nagar and Bhuinya Toli. An MoU will be signed with ESSL for installing street light.

Urban Development Minister C.P. Singh, Chief Secretary Raj Bala Verma, UDD Principal Secretary Arun Kumar Singh, Principal Secretary to CM Sanjay Kumar, Secretary to CM Sunil Kumar Barnwal, Commissioner of Ranchi Municipal Corporation Prashant Kr. and other officers were present on this occasion.
