Jamshedpur: At an introductory function at Tagore Society, the organization�s president Dr HS Paul observed, �I feel very proud to state that a former student of Tagore School of Arts, Chandana Chowdhury has now taken over the reins of this institution as its principal. In fact, it is a matter of great pride for all of us that Chandana Chowdhury is now the principal of the Tagore Society run Tagore School of Arts.
While appreciating Chandana�s being picked as the principal of the Tagore School of Arts, Tagore Society chairman Dr Gautam Dasgupta and general secretary Asish Chowdhury opined that she being a former student of the school, she knew the environs very well and her experience would go a long way in giving shape and direction to imparting training in art and music to the students of the institution.
Apart from the Tagore School of Arts� main centre at Rabindra Bhawan, teachers from Sonari, Kadma, Baridih, Telco, NML and Cable Town branches were present at the function and presented songs and dances as the concluding part of the program.
