Ranchi, April 3: Former minister Yogendra Sao has been called for questioning by Enforcement Directorate (ED) today.
This inquiry is related to the land occupation case. Yogendra Sao reached ED office at 11 am today. Since then he is being interrogated. Meanwhile, at lunch time, his daughter Amba Prasad, who is also Barkagaon MLA, reached the ED office with food for her father.
During this, while talking to the media, she said that a conspiracy is being hatched against us.
When Amba was going inside the ED office with food for her father, she said that one conspiracy after another is hatched against us, which has failed many times. There is a gang behind us who hatches a conspiracy.
“We are not involved in any matter like land grabbing. If something like this had happened then there would have been an FIR. We are ready to face this difficulty. We have seen bigger calamities than this,” said said.
Yogendra Sao also spoke to the media before entering the ED office. When asked questions, he said that governments keep coming and going. Central agencies continue to do their work. Central agencies are independent. He has full confidence that if the case in which ED is investigating him is conducted impartially, he will be proven innocent. He said that he respects the agency.
On March 12, ED had raided the residences of Barkagaon MLA Amba Prasad, his father Yogendra Sao and his relatives. ED had raided 17 locations of Amba and her father’s associates.
