Jamshedpur : Former Chief Minister Raghubar Das greeted Ishita De, Vice Principal of Agrico Tarapore School, who was conferred with National Teachers Award on the occasion of Teacher’s Day by President Ramnath Kovind. On Sunday, former Chief Minister Raghubar Das honored the teacher, Ishita De, by offering flowers, corsets and books in the residential office at Agrico.
During this, the school’s chairman Bailey Bodhanwala and BJP Jamshedpur metropolitan president Gunjan Yadav were present. Wishing the bright future of teacher Ishita Dey, former Chief Minister said that it is a matter of great honor to get the teacher of Jamshedpur the National Teachers Award. The quality of the entire Jharkhand including Jamshedpur has increased due to quality education by private and government school teachers in Jharkhand.
Said that teachers are the creators of the nation, who teach children to become responsible citizens of the future. Today, there is a need to make students aware of culture and environment along with education. There is a lot of potential in the field of education in the state, Jharkhand can be made a hub of education with the coordination of government level and private level.
Referring to the work done in the field of higher education during the previous BJP government, he said that the BJP government established three medical colleges in the state. At the same time, the Medical College is headed by the First Women’s University in Jamshedpur, the Professional College and Ardeshir Dayal Memorial Hospital in Bardih by Manipal Medical College in TB Hospital. Said that the present time belongs to the tradesman, keeping this in mind, he established several ITI and polytechnic colleges in the entire state. Advising the present government, he said that the present government should take these tasks honestly and prevent the migration of the children of the state.
