Jamshedpur, Sep 11: Senior Congress leader and former MP Ajoy Kumar on Saturday said that emphasis should be laid on education rather than the establishment of industries. “Jharkhand should first have to be made a center of higher education, only then it will be able to become an industry-oriented state. We need to promote higher education in order to excel,” he said.
Kumar was addressing a meeting of professionals organized at a city hotel under the chairmanship of Afsar Imam, president of All India Professionals Congress Jamshedpur. Professional Congress president Aditya Vikram Jaiswal was present on the occasion.
During the meeting discussions were made on issues concerning people like Jamshedpur airport, tourism and agriculture industry, and education.

Jharkhand State Professional Congress president Aditya Vikram Jaiswal said: “We are preparing a team of professionals, which will work to coordinate between the government and the professionals. , as well as we will also organise a professional ‘chaupal’ so that the problems faced in filing tax and GST returns will be redressed.
Jaiswal further went on to add that the Professional Congress will work to make a tourism corridor and work to stop the migration from the village by establishing industries and promoting industries and related business to make rural areas prosperous, which will help the village and society.
Party’s COO Aleem Zaveri said that by taking the organisation to the rural areas, the professional Congress will work to strengthen it from all sides. He assured that they will take the issues raised by the professionals to the state government and the central government.
