Former cricketers sit on dharna at Keenan against ‘corruption’ in JSCA

Jamshedpur: Continuing their protest against irregularities at Jharkhand State Cricket Association, former cricketers led by Seshnath Pathak sat on a one day dharna outside JSCA office at Keenan Stadium, Jamshedpur on Tuesday.

Accusing the members and the president of the association of corruption, Seshnath Pathak said, “Amitabh Choudhary and the office bearers have gained a lot by constructing an International Stadium in Ranchi and have practiced manipulation in the elections.”

Pathak added, “The association members have also been accused of fudging accounts and corrupt practices pertaining to service tax, 2005 Keenan ticket fiasco and black marketing of tickets during 2012-13 ODI at Ranchi while blaming them of neglecting Jamshedpur which was earlier the home of cricket in Jharkhand.”

Pathak further said that certain JSCA officials were neck deep in corruption and now Country cricket Club. The protestors demanded to bring JSCA under RTI act and bring out all the corruption involved in the association.

At the demonstration Badrinath, Supriyo Bose, NJ Prakash, Anand Rao, Neeraj Chauhan, Subodh Ankit, Abhishek, Sitaram, Gurpreet Singh, Dara Yadav, Rahul, Manjit Mishra, Sanjiv Ahuja and others were present.
