Jamshedpur, June 7: Forest Management and Conservation Committee took out a rally during the three-day World Environment Day celebration at Chakulia on Tuesday.
The rally was flagged off by Lady Tarzan Jamuna Tudu and BJP leader Dinesh Kumar. The rally started from KNJ High School which traversed through railway crossing, Birsa Munda Chowk Bazar where guests garlanded the bust of Martyr Birsa Munda and the rally concluded at School premises.
Several saplings were also planted in the school premises. The students and residents holding placards made the mass aware of environmental conservation.
To make the event successful Samadhan organisation and Marwari Mahila Manch Chakulia unit provided full support.
