Jamshedpur, March 31: The Forest Department has officially confirmed that there is no leopard present in the Bio Diversity Park at Kadma. After a thorough investigation conducted over three consecutive days, including the utilization of PIP (Passive Infrared) technology and the deployment of a team of veterinary doctors from the Wildlife Institute of India and Palamau Tiger Reserve, no evidence of Leopard presence was found.

During the day-night search operation cages were strategically placed within the Park to capture any potential Leopard sightings. Additionally, the PIP technology was employed to detect wild animal footprints on soil and sand, but no leopard pugmarks were detected.

With the conclusion of the investigation, the Forest Department issued a press release confirming the absence of leopards in the Kadma Bio Diversity Park and has granted permission to reopen the park to the public.

However, forest personnel will continue to be stationed in the park to ensure public safety and alleviate any apprehensions among visitors.
