Foreigner assaulted at Jubilee Park, three jailed

Jamshedpur, Sep 15: With the recent rise in snatching cases across the city, the police officials have formed a special team to crack down on culprits. A similar case took place on late Saturday evening as three men were arrested after they allegedly tried to snatch a foreigner girl�s purse and belongings, before that they also made an attempt to assault her, police said.

The trio of Chand Khan, Saddab Ansari and Mohammed Bhola were caught by the Tiger mobile personnel from the Jubilee Park after the girl who was enjoying the evening at the park started screaming on the attack made by the trio. Soon the police personnel hearing the voice reached the spot, arrested them and took them to Police Station, after investigating the matter on Sunday, Sep 15. The three were sent behind bars.
