Foreign nationals apprehended with 14 kg gold at Gaya Airport

Gaya: In a significant development, two foreign nationals have been apprehended at Gaya Airport in Bihar with a staggering 14 kg of gold. The individuals arrived on a flight from Myanmar on Wednesday evening. Acting on a tip-off, the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) team swiftly took action, detaining both foreigners.

Upon inspection of their bags, the DRI team discovered the concealed 14 kg of gold. The confiscated gold is currently undergoing legal procedures. The two foreign passengers are presently being interrogated at Gaya Airport.

As of now, responsible officers have refrained from making any official statements, and details surrounding the incident are awaited. Authorities are exercising caution in releasing information on the ongoing investigation.
