Jamshedpur: Sanjay Kumar, director of Food Supplies department, Jharkhand, visited Jamshedpur to review preparations for the launch of Mukhyamantri Canteen Yojana. He convened a meeting with the Special Rationing Officer Naveen Kumar and discussed issues related to the launch.
After the meeting, Kumar visited the venues earmarked for the launch of food outlets under the scheme. He also visited the central kitchen at Shastrinagar, Kadma, which is run by Annamrita Foundation. He gave instructions to the officials regarding upkeep of the kitchen and quality of food, sources said.
Kumar said all preparations had been made for the launch of the scheme. He said the scheme would be launched very soon.
Department sources said the Mukhyamantri Canteen Scheme outlets would be opened at Bistupur, Sakchi, Sonari, Mango, Kadma, Sidhgora, Burmamines and Jugsalai.
