Flight disruptions in Ranchi and Mumbai due to adverse weather conditions

Ranchi: In the wake of challenging weather conditions, Pune-Ranchi flight experienced a diversion to Raipur after completing 13 circles in the air. Simultaneously, the Mumbai-Ranchi Air India flight faced delays, taking off at 11:29 am instead of the scheduled 9 am departure. In Ranchi, adverse weather and low visibility led to several flights departing late and some being redirected. Indigo flight 6E 6484 from Pune, scheduled to arrive at 8:30 am, circled 13 times before being redirected to Raipur around 9:30 am. The aircraft eventually reached Ranchi from Raipur at 12:40 pm, departing from Ranchi at 1:28 am. The Mumbai-Ranchi Air India flight, after navigating through five circles due to poor weather, landed in Ranchi at 10:30 am, having initially approached Birsa Munda Airport at 10 am.
