Jamshedpur : In a road mishap, five persons, including three children and a woman were injured as the auto-rickshaw they were travelling was hit by a truck at in Chandil on NH-33 under Chandil thana area in the adjoining Seraikela-Kharsawan district this morning.
The victims are residents of Turiabera and were returning home when the mishap took place. The police said truck driver fled the spot after the mishap.
Those injured were identified as Ritik Kumar (13), Sagar Kumar (7) Arvind Sahu (25), Rita Devi (22), and Lokesh Kumar (6).
All of them have been admitted at the MGM Medical College Hospital in Sakchi, where their condition was out of danger.
