Jamshedpur: Five NCC cadets from Jamshedpur Women’s University have been chosen to participate in the Army Camp Inter Group Competition, scheduled to be held in Barauni, Bihar from July 10 to 19. The selected cadets are Riya Kumari, Anima Kumari, Raimuni Kumari, Krishna Gope, and Sakshi Rai. This camp marks the third phase of the Army Camp series, crucial for the comprehensive training of cadets.

The Inter Group Competition at Barauni aims to prepare cadets physically, mentally, and morally, aligning them with the requirements of service in the Indian Army. Prof. (Dr.) Anjila Gupta, Vice Chancellor of the University, expressed pride in the selection of these five cadets, emphasizing that this opportunity will nurture their abilities and leadership qualities.

Preeti, the NCC caretaker officer at the university, commended the cadets for their hard work and discipline, which earned them this prestigious opportunity. She extended her best wishes to the cadets for a successful future and assured them of full support. The camp curriculum will encompass military exercises, discipline, leadership, and teamwork, tailored to meet the rigorous standards of the Indian Army.
