Five ITDA projects worth Rs 2.23 crore approved

Seraikela: Projects worth Rs 2.23 crore were approved during a meeting of the Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA) on Monday.

The meeting was presided over by the deputy commissioner of Seraikela-Kharsawan Hansraj Singh, the MLA of Ichagarh Arvind Kumar Singh and representatives of the MLAs of Kharsawan and Seraikela.

A total of five projects were passed during the meeting. The projects are related to cocoon production, rainwater harvesting, poultry and production of timber used for furnishing households and buildings.

Women�s self help groups and committees will help the district administration implement the projects.

The meeting was also attended by DDC Raymond Kerketta, SDO Sadar Sanjeev Kumar Besra, SDO of Chandil NK Gupta and other officials of the district administration.
