Ranchi: Reviewing the IT Department, Chief Minister Raghubar Das today said that e-offices should be started by December this year in five departments including IT, Personnel and Industry and all the files of selected departments should be opened online.
The CM said that free Wi-Fi facilities will be started in all main towns as pilot project. Strong steps should be taken for cyber security and cyber crime control. “Very soon digital online classes will be started and all panchayat schools will be connected with it. The facility will be provided shortly at Sanga.
An innovational laboratory will also be started for Start-up Jharkhand in the last week of December. IIM, Ahmadabad will be contacted for this purpose,” he said.
Reviewing the Mining and Geology department, the CM said that a geological museum should be established in order to inform people about the various minerals of Jharkhand. Laying stress on making maps of mines, new potentials should be found out.
He said that departmental surveys should be conducted to find out other minerals. He said that proposals under Single Window System should be reviewed weekly at the Chief Secretary’s level and maximum applications should be disposed.
CS Raj Bala Verma, Development Commissioner Amit Khare, Departmental Secretary Sunil Kumar Barnwal, IT Director Umesh Prasad and other officers were present in the meeting.
