CM stresses on training unorganized workers, opening it is

Ranchi, Nov. 10: Chief Minister Raghubar Das today said that workers of unorganized sectors should be trained, upgraded and given certificates.

They should be met and their problems should be discussed. “Helpers to plumbers, masons, carpenters and other artisans should be coached in the evening for three months and given scholarships. Industrial training centres (ITIs) should be opened in all blocks with the view to employ people living in rural areas and far off. In the first phase, ITIs will be opened in different blocks of Chaibasa, Khunti, Gumla, Palamu, Garhwa, Pakur, Sahebganj and Deoghar,” the CM said.

The CM further said, “The trained people will get opportunity to be hired in Rojgar Mela. Help desks should be arranged before all employment exchanges and Ranchi, Jamshedpur and Dhanbad should be developed as career and counseling centers. People will be informed about departments with maximum vacancies. ITIs of different districts should be modernized phase-wise. ITIs in Chaibasa, Gumla, Palamu, Garhwa, Dumka, Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Dhanbad and Deoghar should be made model ITIs.”

The CM said it while reviewing the Labour Department’s works. He said that blankets should be distributed among poor people. Blankets will be purchased from Jharcraft.

He said that Jharcraft will prepare various products as per demand. In the next financial year, all amenities will be provided to them before hand so that things can be prepared in time, he said.

Das thanked the Labour Department for standing 1st for the 2nd year. He laid stress on educating and training people.
Labour Minister Raj Paliwar, Chief Secretary Raj Bala Verma, Principal Secretary to the CM Sanjay Kumar, Principal Secretary SKG Rahate and other officers were present on this occasion.
