Jamshedpur: Following Corona, Japanese Encephalitis (JE) has now started spreading panic in East Singhbhum district. The first death from JE occurred in the district on Wednesday. After this there was a stir in the department. In a hurry, a team was sent to the patient’s house and its surrounding areas and directed to take necessary action. The deceased is a woman (38) resident of Galudih. She was undergoing treatment at the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial (MGM) Medical College Hospital. Earlier he was admitted to Tata Motors Hospital. So far 34 JE suspected patients have been investigated in the district. Eight positives have been found during tests. At the same time, one has died so far.
