First cabinet meeting in Chaibasa announces

Jamshedpur/Chaibasa, May 12: Government gifted state employees a seven percent hike in dearness allowance (DA) during the cabinet meeting held for the first time in Kolhan’s Chaibasa on Tuesday.

Now the employees will get 113 percent dearness allowance as compared to 106 percent previously. The meet headed by Chief Minister Raghubar Das was held at the old and historical bhavan of Circuit House in Chaibasa.

The cabinet meeting which continued for about an hour saw some major decision in regard to the salary increment of ministers, Sachetak, Up Sachetak, Chairman, Vice chairman and Chief Minster and MLAs. After the meeting, Talking to the mediapersons, Principal Secretary, Govt. of Jharkhand.

SK Shatpati said, Sachetak salaries has been increased to 89,500 with all others benefits 1 lakh 57 thousand monthly , leaders of opposition salary would be 50,000 whereas chairman and vice chairman will receive monthly Rs 55000 and 45000 respectively.

Chief Minister will get now 60 thousands and total amount will be 21 lakh 60 thousand that includes all the benefits.

At the meet Rs 36 crore were sanctioned for chaibasa-Jhikhpani road strengthening and widening.

Present at the meet were Minsters Chandra Praksh Choudhary, Nil Kanth Singh Munda, Rajiv Gauba, Randhir Tumar, Neera Yadav, CM Raghubar Das, Sanjay Kumar, Raj Palivar, Ramchandra Bansi including all the secretaries and officers of chaibasa .
