Jamshedpur: One Salman Khan allegedly made an abortive attempt to shoot one man Khadim at Road Number 3, Agrico, under Sitaramdera police station area late Sunday evening.
The bullet missed its target. The accused fled the scene after the incident. An FIR was lodged in this connection with the Sitaramdera police station.
Cops are searching for the accused. They suspect the incident to be the result of old enmity. Local residents said gunshot was heard around 8.30 pm.
They came out but found no one around. They tipped off police about the incident.
