Jamshedpur: A shocking firing incident took place on Thursday night near Garmanala in Bistupur, raising concerns over a possible connection to the murder of Raja Singh. The target of the attack, Rohit Kumar Singh, a marketing executive from Mango Post Office Road, was returning home on his bike when unknown assailants opened fire on him.
Displaying quick thinking, Rohit abandoned his bike and ran towards a parked car, seeking help from the occupants. He then safely reached home and alerted the police. Following his complaint, the City SP, DSP and police station officials arrived at the scene and began investigations. However, no shell casings or concrete evidence were found.
Rohit insists he has no enmity with anyone, but the murder of his elder brother, Raja Singh, has raised suspicions. “I had nothing to do with that case,” Rohit stated.
The police are investigating all possible angles and reviewing CCTV footage for leads. Authorities suspect this may have been an attempt to scare or harm Rohit, but they are yet to determine the exact motive. Further revelations are expected in the coming days.
