Jamshedpur, March 14: A procession was taken out on the first day of the Jeen Bhawani festival from Sakchi Shiv Mandir on Saturday evening.
Shambhu Khanna performed the rituals along with his wife. The procession moved through Sakchi market-Kasidih-Sitaramdera and ended at Jeen Mata Mandir in Golmuri.
The center of attraction during the long procession was magnificent fireworks displayed. Bhajans were presented during the procession with DJ in a truck.
The tableau of Jeen Mata at the procession also attracted several devotees. Gonfalon of Hanuman and Jeen Mata were also taken out. Hundreds of devotees were part of the procession.
AT the event JVM Leader Abhay Singh, Bhawar Lal Khandelwal, Bhandarmal Khemka, Bajranj Lal Agrawal, Mahabir Moonka, Vinod Khemka, Hajarilal Moonka and others were present.
On day two of the festivity, bhajan evening will be held at Sakchi Agrasen Bhawan. The main events to be held include Jeen mangal path, Jeen Chalisha Path, Vishal Kirtan and Chappan Bhog Prasad. Mahaarti by 551 women will also prove to be eye catcher.
Bhajans will be presented by Neeraj Dhadhaniya, Radha Sharma and Ramawtar Agrawal from Kolkata on March 15. Devjeet Group also from Kolkata will present dance performance.
