Fire mock drill at NHES, Loyola School

Jamshedpur, April 20: Tata Steel Fire Safety department along with National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) team (9th Battalion – Patna) organized a fire mock drill awareness session on April 20, 2017. The session was organized as part of the National Fire Service Week celebration.

The mock evacuation drill was conducted at Narbheram Hansraj School, Jamshedpur. NDRF team briefed Jamshedpur SAFE club members, school faculty and students about methodology and safety aspect of mock drill.

Post the mock drill, demonstration of fire extinguishers was conducted by trained fire personnel of the fire & safety department. School students actively participated in both, the mock drill and training session.

The entire mock drill was evaluated with the help of a checklist and rated as �Very Good�.

The NDRF appreciated the effort and activity. A similar mock drill program was also conducted at senior section of Loyola school, Jamshedpur.
