Fire at cloth store in Jamshedpur, Rs 40 lakh property gutted

Jamshedpur, November 11. A sudden fire broke out late on Friday night in Saroj Vastralaya (readymade clothes shop) located near Karandih Chowk under Parsudih police station.

 In this fire incident, clothes and other items present in the shop were burnt to ashes. Some people saw smoke rising from the shop and informed the shop owner Deepak Kumar about it. They ran to the spot at 3 am on Saturday and informed the fire department.

After this, three fire brigade vehicles reached the spot at 4 and started efforts to control the fire. After a lot of effort the fire could be controlled at 7 in the morning.

Deepak Kumar told that in this incident his goods worth about Rs 40 lakh were burnt to ashes.
