FIR complainant in Karan Singh case missing claims Saryu Roy, demands SSP intervention

Jamshedpur, May 29: Jamshedpur West MLA Saryu Roy has raised concerns over the sudden disappearance of Roshan Lal Gupta, the man who had filed an FIR against Ghatsila Zila Parishad member Karan Singh. According to Roy, Gupta was unreachable and his mobile phone had been switched off, causing distress to his family.

Roy stated that Gupta met him on Thursday morning, expressing his willingness to settle the matter and withdraw the complaint. He then went to the Ghatsila police station, but the settlement could not be finalized. Subsequently, the police allegedly took Gupta somewhere else, and he has not been seen or heard of since then.

Roy has urged the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) to urgently look into the matter and ensure the complainant’s safety and verify his whereabouts.

Saryu appoints Manju Singh, Prakash Koya representatives for key welfare areas

Jamshedpur, May 29: Jamshedpur West MLA Saryu Roy has appointed two new representatives to strengthen public welfare efforts in his constituency. Teacher Manju Singh has been entrusted with the responsibility of ‘Women and Child Development,’ while Prakash Koya will oversee matters related to ‘Scheduled Tribe Affairs.’

In a statement, Saryu Roy said the newly appointed representatives would coordinate with relevant departments under the district administration to ensure the effective implementation of Central and State government schemes in the Jamshedpur West Assembly constituency. They would also work towards developing new initiatives based on the specific needs of the constituency.
