Jamshedpur, Feb 11: A police case was registered against the Panchayat committee member of Matku panchayat of Potka block for allegedly posting ‘objectionable’ comments against Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren and his wife.
Sources said the FIR was lodged against the accused, identified as Poma Soren, on the complaint of Nirup Hansda, former vice president of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha’s Potka unit.
According to Hansda, “I am deeply hurt after seeing the post on Internet. Such objectionable comments against the CM and his better half are both wrong and deplorable. I got my complaint registered in this connection at the cyber police station.”
The former JMM functionary demanded speedy police action against the accused. He said all JMM members were hurt by the post.
