FIR against BJP leader and others for spreading fake FIR against Banna Gupta

Jamshedpur: A case has been registered at Kadma police station against three individuals for allegedly circulating a fake FIR copy targeting Minister Banna Gupta. The FIR was filed by Santosh Singh, a resident of Sonari and close associate of the minister. The accused include BJP leader Vikas Singh, former secretary of MLA Saryu Roy Anand Kumar (a journalist), and former general secretary of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) Dr. Mrityunjay Singh.
According to the complaint, the accused used the seal of the Ranchi City SP office to create a fake FIR, which was then circulated on social media. The alleged intent behind this act was to defame Minister Banna Gupta and spread false propaganda for political gain. The fake FIR claimed involvement of the minister in an immoral act with a female Congress worker, which was later proven false.
Ranchi City SP himself refuted the claims and clarified that the FIR was completely fabricated. Despite the serious allegations, the police in Kadma have refrained from commenting further on the case at this stage.
The incident of the fake FIR going viral on Sunday has sparked considerable controversy, with the police now investigating the matter in light of the written complaint filed. Further developments in the case are awaited as the investigation progresses.
