Jamshedpur, Sept 7: Excel India Model School celebrated Teacher’s Day with a vibrant program that showcased the immense talent of students. The event, held at the school premises, featured a medley of performances, including musical renditions, impassioned speeches, and heartfelt recitations of Guru Vandana, paying homage to the sacrifices made by teachers.
Chief Guest was young entrepreneur Gaurav Kumar who inaugurated the event by garlanding a portrait of the Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and lighting the ceremonial lamp. Kumar also extended his gratitude by honoring all the dedicated teachers of the school.
The colorful program boasted an array of talented participants, including Sunaram, Shiv, Ranveer, Mintu, Shravan, Gaurav, Ankita Oraon, Bipasha Mukhi, Tiyasha, Nikita, Moushumi, Sumitra, Rangeela, Anjali, Shreya, Veena, Ritu, Ansh, Priyanshi, Noona, Shyam, Aniket, Sagar, Shikha, Lakima, Suman, Sandhya, Saloni, Anita, Jyotsna, and many more.
Following the conclusion of the event, under the guidance of the school principal Mamta Kumari, all teachers and supporting staff embarked on a tour to explore two prominent sites in Jamshedpur: Russi Mody Center for Excellence and Tribal Culture Center. The tour delved into the rich history of the Tata Group and the city of Jamshedpur, while also celebrating the diverse tribal culture of Jharkhand.
Teachers and staff who participated in this excursion included Subhadra Kumari, Dulari Besra, Manjulata, Kabita Nayak, Pinky, Shefali Tudu, Mukta Dey, Abhimanyu Singh, Sheela, Kavita Sahu, Seema Sharma, Asha Kumari, Manjari Ekka, Preetpal, Pyari Soren, Malti Karua, Sushila, and others.
