Jamshedpur, Oct 17: A two day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) was organized at RVS College of Engineering and Technology. Chief Guest Dilip Mangraj was welcomed by Shatrughan Singh, Treasurer of RVS College.
In his two-day presentation, Mangraj analyzed in detail the qualifications required for accreditation of NAAC. He inspected the various laboratories, smart class rooms, seminar halls, workshops, libraries and other key facilities available at the institution. According to him, the college was almost ready to receive NAAC’s ‘A Grade.’ He said, “Wherever I noticed some shortcomings, I drew the attention of the College management to rectify these lacunas.” Earlier, Dr. RN Gupta, Director of the College welcomed the visiting dignitaries.
The Principal of the institute, Dr Rajesh Kumar Tiwari stated that only the best could beget the best. “You should give your best so that the college can get NAAC accreditation. “
Dr Sanatan Prasad, In-charge of IQAC and Dr Vikram Sharma, Dr SP Singh, and Dr Sudhir Jha helped in organizing the two day event.
