Fatal Collision Between Bus and Auto Claims Two Lives in Gumla, Jharkhand

Gumla: A tragic road accident occurred on Thursday near Kekurumgarh bridge in the Kurumgarh police station area of Chainpur block in Gumla district. The incident involved a direct collision between a bus and an auto, resulting in the immediate deaths of a young man and a woman traveling in the auto. The victims have not been identified at present.

In addition to the fatalities, 14 people sustained serious injuries in the accident. Following the collision, all injured individuals were rushed to Kochainpur Community Health Centre (CHC), where they received initial medical assistance before being referred to Gumla for further treatment.

The accident took place as the group was traveling from Chainpur to their home in Kurumadh in an auto. The collision occurred near the Kurumgarh bridge. The police promptly responded to the incident, recovering the bodies and sending them to Gumla Sadar Hospital for post-mortem examinations.

Among the injured individuals are Manju Devi, Tulsi Oraon, Durgavati Devi, Sangeeta Devi, Anima Kumari, Poonam Minj, Safira Devi, Martha Lakra, and Jyoti Minz. The police are conducting investigations into the circumstances of the collision.
