Jamshedpur, April 3: Farzan Heerjee was the winner of the much sought after Mercedes Trophy golf tournament’s Jamshedpur edition (Tristar Motors Trophy). Farzan is Chief Protocol and Sports, Tata Steel. Sanjiv Paul, Vice President, Tata Steel and Captain, Jamshedpur Golf, gave away the prizes. Amateur golfers Kunal Roy and Sukhraj Khanuja were also present on the occasion. Farzan will now compete in the national finals to be held in Pune.
Various rounds of Mercedes Trophy will be held around the country followed by the national final.
National Finals’ winner will move to the Mercedes Trophy World Finals at Stuttgart in Germany to compete against the winners from all over the world.
Over the years, Mercedes Trophy India has turned out to be one of the most prestigious and longest running corporate and amateur golf tournaments in the country.
