Seraikela: A number of farmers of Seraikela-Kharsawan have alleged that certain Sahayaks are demanding bribe in lieu of giving them the cheques bearing the amount of compensation given against their lands acquired by the government for road construction work.
They alleged that the Sahayaks were demanding hefty sums and said that their compensation should be given directly to them so that no middleman is allowed to exploit the farmers.
