Fans enthusiastically celebrate Jamshedpur FC’s first win at Fan Park

Jamshedpur, Oct 2: ISL Fan Park was organised by Jamshedpur FC near Mody Park in Bistupur during their first match against Mumbai City FC on Tuesday, October 2.
JFC fans in large number watched the sizzling live match action 20ft x 10ft supersized Dolby screen at the especially created Fan Park.

The fan park was welcomed by tons of fans around the city. The event was enthralling for the citizens of Jamshedpur, and left an indelible mark on their minds.

The football fans in the city came in huge numbers to attend the event, and enjoy the beautiful game on the giant screen.

A header by Mario Arques in the 28 minute was cheered by the crowd who had arrived with dhakis.

The concept of the ISL fan park amused, entertained as well as gave the citizens to have a stadium like experience in their home town. People came from different areas of the city to enjoy the event.

�We visited the IPL Fan Park at G Town Ground in Bistupur last year and this year also but watching your own team play the match on the big screen is totally a different experience. It was like watching the match in an open theatre and cheering for our Jamshedpur FC boys� said Rahul Nayak, a Kadma resident and an ardent fan of JFC.

As Jamshedpur dominated most of the proceedings crowd cheered for the team and captain Tiri.

Several fun contests were also hosted by the club which gave fans a chance to win some cool JFC merchandise and tickets to home matches
The late strike by Pablo Morgado sealed the match for Jamshedpur FC which made for a perfect start to JFC season.

Karim City College students Amit Tiwary said, �Tata Steel has done something amazing for the city by launching its own team in ISL and now with Fan Park I hope that this will create a football culture in the city”.

Fans celebrated Jamshedpur FC’s maiden win of the season by dancing and hoped that they continue the winning streak.

Earlier, dignitaries from Tata Steel Sports Department including head sports Ashish Kumar inaugurated the fan park.
