Hoping that Jamshedpur FC can make a comeback in the second half, fans were seated minutes ahead of the start of the play. But they lost hope when Ferran Corominas again scored for Goa at 51st minute.
With 2 goals behind, Jamshedpur needed ‘Kudrati Karishma’ to win from here and several of the fans started to leave the stadium. When Manuel Lanzarote scored another goal for FC Goa in the 69th minuet it was all over for the Tata Steel owned franchisee.

People from all walks of life attended the final league match of ISL and being a Sunday and with final exams over kids along with their parents thronged the venue. Several of the youths were seen vying for a ticket since early afternoon but had to return disappointed.
‘I was in the city to attend my sister’s wedding and with Jamshedpur FC playing its maiden ISL tournament I wanted to watch the match live but when I came towards the stadium several of the people were looking for a ticket which was sold out days ahead of the game’, said Soumik Chakraborty, working in a MNC in Gurgaon.

Another disappointed Jamshedpur FC fan was in tears coming out of the stadium. ‘I have watched every single match of JFC at the JRD Stadium but didn’t know that my team will not qualify for the semis seeing its performance during the mid stage of ISL. I am really disappointed with Subrata Paul but Steve Coppell is great coach and hope we come back stronger in the next season’, said industrialist Rounak Agrawal.
