Jamshedpur, August 20: Crime in Steel City refuses to die down. As Jamshedpur witnessed communal violence last month followed cases of snatching and murder on every second day.
Bomb blast last week behind Beldih Kalibari is still under investigation but on Thursday evening another horrific incident took place in Mango.
Woman identified as Amina Begum was allegedly shot by one of her family members in case related to property. She was rushed to the Tata Main Hospital where she succumbed to excessive bleeding.
The 62 year old Amina, a resident of Jawahar nagar road no. 12 in Mango had a spat with her family members regarding a property related issue.
At around 8 pm in the evening one of her kin shot her with a bullet.
She died during treatment at the hospital. The Police have taken into custody five members of her family and are investigating the matter.
The police are yet to reveal any details of the incident but have sealed the crime scene & have deployed personnel in the Mango area.
