Jamshedpur, May 4: In an operation led by DSP Sandeep Bhagat, police recovered 20 liters of counterfeit English liquor from Kumdashol in the Dumaria police station area. Acting on confidential information, authorities, under the guidance of police station in-charge Sugana Munda and SI Rajesh Kumar, conducted the raid. The operation resulted in the confiscation of 52 bottles of fake English liquor and 20 liters of country liquor from the possession of accused Shyamcharan Tudu. Tudu has been charged under sections 272, 273, and 290 of the Indian Penal Code along with section 47(A) of the Excise Act. Following the arrest, Tudu was remanded to judicial custody.
