Autorickshaw set Ablaze in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, May 4: Antisocial elements targeted an autorickshaw parked outside Jahangir Khan’s residence in Kitadih under Parsudih police station area late on Friday night. The autorickshaw was reduced to ashes by the time Khan became aware of the situation and informed the police. Khan, who operates the autorickshaw on hire, stated that it belonged to a neighbor. He parked it outside his house as usual and retired for the night, only to be alerted by neighbors around 2 a.m. that the auto was engulfed in flames. Khan suspected foul play by persons from the colony and believed that the act was premeditated, as neighboring autos remained untouched. An investigation into the matter is underway
