Extortion case: Amlesh Singh fails to turn up

Jamshedpur, June 22: Amlesh Singh, brother of Akhilesh Singh, could not be produced in the court of First Class Judicial Magistrate Shri Priya on Wednesday in connection with the case of extortion lodged against him with the Golmuri police station in 2010. His lawyer said he could not appear in the court due to bad health. He said the next date of hearing is on 27^th June. Other accused in the extortion case include Kanhaiya Singh, Sachin Singh, Pankaj Singh and others. Kanhai Singh and other accused got their statement recorded in the court today, sources said.
