Ghatsila, April 20: Due to a short circuit in the battery room of the solar system installed in the sub-division hospital, a sudden fault occurred on Thursday.
There were explosion one after the other, an atmosphere of chaos was created in the hospital. Hospital personnel were also seen running towards the battery room with fire extinguishers. Even the doctors and health workers could not understand anything.
However, due to the understanding of the hospital personnel, a major accident was averted here. Had there been an explosion in the battery, a major accident could not be ruled out.
Later, on the arrival of the electrician, the battery and circuit wire were disconnected from the solar panel, after which the explosion stopped.
Mayank Kumar Singh, BPM of Sub-Divisional Hospital told that ever since the solar panel has been installed in the hospital, this type of problem keeps on happening continuously. It never works properly. Just a week ago, a team of mechanics had come from Ranchi to repair it.
Today the whole hospital was horrified by the sound of the explosion. However, there was no loss of life or property. A major accident was averted in time.
